1964: Lawry and Simpson stand makes history (Old Trafford)

Bill Lawry and Bob Simpson put on 201 after Australia won the toss. Simpson went onto make 311, his maiden Test century.

Action in the Fourth Test Match at Old Trafford, during which the Aussies played extremely well, beating a record for an Australian opening partnership against England, which has stood for 55 years.

4th Test, 1964.
