1936 2nd Test: Nourse hits double ton against Aussies (J'borg)

Dudley Nourse hit 211 in only 4 hours as South Africa bounced back to post 491 after crumbling for just 157 in the first innings.

Australia scored 250 to gain a healthy lead. In their second innings, Stan McCabe smashed 189 not out as they ran out of time to chase down South Africa, ending at 274-2.

In Bradman's absence, Victor Richardson led the team and secured the series 4-0 with only this drawn 2nd Test eluding them to complete a white wash.
