Last minute Simmons silences India: 2016 WT20 Semi IND v WIN (Mumbai)

West Indies stunned hosts India with a seven-wicket win in the semi-final after late replacement Lendl Simmons played the defining inninhs to overhaul a stiff target.

India were in complete control after Virat Kohli's unbeaten 89 took them to 192-2. In reply, danger man Chris Gayle fell for five. But Lendl Simmons, who was twice caught off no-balls and held on the boundary only for Ravindra Jadeja to step on the rope, smashed 82 from 51 balls. Simmons was playing his first match of the cup, after replacing an injured Andre Fletcher.

Windies, champions in 2012 now play the 2010 champions - England - in the final. West Indies 196 for 3 (Simmons 82*, Charles 52) beat India 192 for 2 (Kohli 89*, Rohit 43) by seven wickets.
