Misbah century steadies Pakistan: 1st Test, Day 1 (Lords)

On the day of their return to the scene of their crime of match fixing in 2010, a fighting century from 42 year old captain Misbah-ul-Haq put Pakistan in a strong position in the first Test before a late England counter-attack.

Two late wickets from Chris Woakes gave England hope after they had lost the toss and toiled in the field.

Pakistan 282 for 6 (Misbah 110*, Shafiq 73, Woakes 4-45) v England.

July 2016.
