New Zealand crush Pakistan, go 1-0 up: 1st Test, Day 4 (Christchurch)

New Zealand wrapped up a convincing eight-wicket win over Pakistan with over four sessions to spare.

Set 105 to win after bowling Pakistan out for 171 in their second innings, home side wraped up the win with Raval on 36 not out and Williamson (61) leading the chase.

Earlier, Neil Wagner, who returned figures of 3 for 34, claimed the wicket of Shafiq for 17 and Southee ended the innings when he had Rahat Ali caught for two as Pakistam made 171.

New Zealand 200 (Raval 55, Rahat 4-62) and 108 for 2 (Williamson 61) beat Pakistan 133 (Misbah 31, de Grandhomme 6-41) and 171 (Sohail 40, Wagner 3-34, Boult 3-37) by eight wickets.
