Jennings debut century nudges England ahead: 4th Test, Day 1 (Mumbai)

Opener Keaton Jennings' stunning century (112) on Test debut helped England overcome a spinners' pitch to nudge England ahead on 288-5 at stumps.

Jennings and Cook (46) put on 99 before the skipper was out to left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja, stumped by wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel.

Jennings and Moeen Ali (50) put on a stand of 94 for the third wicket before a late wobbled was steadied by a Stokes and Buttler partnership of 39 in the last hour.

England 288 for 5 (Jennings 112, Moeen 50, Ashwin 4-75) v India.
