Raza shines as Zimbabwe stun SL for historic series win: 5th ODI (RPS)

Sikandar Raza starred as 11th ranked Zimbabwe knocked out Sri Lanka by three wickets to clinch a historic series victory 3-2.

This was the first time Zimbabwe has won a series in Asia.

Raza took 3-21 to restrict the hosts to 8-203 thanks to fifties from Gunaratne and Gunathilaka.

In reply, Hamilton Masakadza hit 73 and Raza guided a tense chase with an unbeaten 27 as the visitors won with 71 balls to spare.

Zimbabwe 204 for 7 (Masakadza 73, Mire 43, Raza 27*, Dananjaya 4-47, Malinga 2-44) beat Sri Lanka 203 for 8 (Gunaratne 59*, Gunathilaka 52, Raza 3-21, Cremer 2-23) by three wickets.
