Magical Moeen routs South Africa for series win: 4th Test, Day 4 (Manchester)

Allrounder Moeen Ali followed up his sizzling 66 ball 75 not out to take five wickets as England beat South Africa by 177-runs and secure 3-1 series victory.

This was England's first home win against South Africa since 1998.

On a difficult pitch, South Africa were bowled out for 202, with Moeen taking 5-69, supported by James Anderson's 3-16. Hashim Amla made 83 and Faf Du Plessis posted 61 but they fell away rapidly losing their last seven wickets for 39 runs.

England 362 (Bairstow 99, Stokes 58, Root 52, Rabada 4-91) and 243 (Moeen 75*, Morkel 4-41, Olivier 3-38) beat South Africa 226 (Anderson 4-38) and 202 (Amla 83, du Plessis 61, Moeen 5-69) by 177 runs.
