South Africa dominate after Elgar, Markram tons: 2nd Test, Day 1 (Bloemfontein)

Centuries from openers Dean Elgar and Aiden Markram put South Africa in complete command on the opening day against Bangladesh.

Elgar hit 113 and Markram posted his maiden century (143) as they put on 243 for the first wicket.

Hashim Amla (89 not out) and captain Faf du Plessis (62no) put on 140 for the 4th wicket as South Africa reached a formidable 428-3 at stumps.

South Africa 428 for 3 (Markram 143, Elgar 113, Amla 89*, Subhashis 2-85) v Bangladesh.
