Lakmal routs India, SL romp home: 1st ODI (Dharamsala)

Paceman Suranga Lakmal snapped up four wickets to bowl out India for just 112 as Sri Lanka cantered home to win by 7 wickets.

Lakmal wreaked havoc with career-best ODI figures of 4-13 before Mahendra Singh Dhoni hit a gritty 65 to lift India from a precarious 29-7.

Upul Tharanga's rapid 49 helped Sri Lanka chase down the small target with nearly 30 overs to spare after Mathews and Dickwella brought home the win with a steadying stand of 49 for the 4th wicket.

Sri Lanka 114 for 3 (Tharanga 49) beat India 112 (Dhoni 65, Lakmal 4-13) by seven wickets.
