Talat dream debut sinks Windies: 1st T20 (Karachi)

Debutant Hussain Talat shone with the bat and ball as Karachi welcomed back international cricket after more than nine years as Pakistan crushed the West Indies in the first of the three-match T20I series.

A rapid 41 by Talat and a late cameo by veteran Shoaib Malik powered Pakistan to a record 203-5.

Pakistan's attack ripped to shreds a depleted Windies side to emerge victorious by a massive 143-run margin as the Windies surrendered meekly for 60 for 9 - 19 short of their previous lowest T20I total.

Pakistan 203 for 5 (Talat 41, Zaman 39, Sarfraz 38, Malik 37) beat West Indies 60 (Amir 2-3, Nawaz 2-19, Malik 2-13) by 143 runs.
