Root century powers win over India: 2nd ODI (Lords)

Joe Root's fighting century (113) delivered a resounding 86 run victory over India in the second one-day to level the series 1-1.

Root and David Willey's late cameo (50 not out from 31 balls) powered England to post 322-7.

India limped to 236 all out, to lose by 86 runs as Liam Plunkett (4-46) and Adil Rashid (2-38) kept them in check.

England 322 for 7 (Root 113, Morgan 53, Willey 50*, Kuldeep 3-68) beat India 236 (Raina 46, Kohli 45, Plunkett 4-46, Rashid 2-38) by 86 runs.
