Tamim ton snatches 2-1 series win over over Windies : 3rd ODI (Guyana)

Tamim Iqbal smashed a century as Bangladesh held off a late charge from the West Indies to claim a series-clinching 18-run win in the decisive third and final match.

Tamim made 103 from 124 balls and Mahmudullah added a rapid 67 off 49 balls as Bangladesh finished on an imposing 301-6.

Chris Gayle smashed 73 and a late charge by Rovman Powell (74 off 41 balls) gave hope to the Windies but they fell short on 283-6.

Bangladesh 301 for 6 (Tamim 103, Mahmudullah 67*) beat West Indies 283 for 6 (Rovman 74*, Gayle 73, Hope 64) by 18 runs.
