Azhar, Sohail make steady start against NZ: 2nd Test, Day 1 (Dubai)

Azhar Ali scored a sedate 81 and Haris Sohail was 81 not out but New Zealand struck back with two quick wickets in the last session to leave Pakistan on 270-4.

Azhar and Sohail put together a 126-run partnership but they could have tightened the screws further if they scored at a faster rate, preferring to concentrate on defense after the unexplained collapse to lose the 1st Test.

Pakistan 207 for 4 (Azhar 81, Sohail 81*, de Grandhomme 2-31) v New Zealand.

Nov 2018.
