Bairstow powers tense win over Windies: 1st T20 (St Lucia)

Jonny Bairstow smashed 68 to set up England's tense four-wicket win over the West Indies.

Bairstow's career-best T20 score came from 40 balls as England chased down 161 after a nervous collapse at the end almost derailed them.

The opener fell in the 12th over but Joe Denly's 30 and 18 from Sam Billings took the tourists to victory.

Earlier, Nicholas Pooran struck 58 in 37 balls as the Windies posted 160-8. Tom Curran took 4-36.

England 161 for 6 (Bairstow 68, Cottrell 3-29) beat West Indies 160 for 8 (Pooran 58, Curran 4-36) by four wickets.
