Taylor powers tense win over Bangladesh: 2019 WC #9 (Oval)

Ross Taylor smashed 82 as New Zealand beat Bangladesh by 2 wickets in a tense encounter.

New Zealand was coasting at 160/2 with Ross Taylor (82) and Kane Williamson (40) having added a century stand. The Kiwis collapsed to 218/7 and it took Mitchell Santner (17 not out) to get New Zealand home in 47.1 overs.

Earlier, Shakib hit 64 as Bangladesh posted 244 all out with Matt Henry taking 4-47.

New Zealand 248 for 8 (Taylor 82, Williamson 40) beat Bangladesh 244 (Shakib 64, Henry 4-47) by two wickets.
