Warner plunders plucky Bangladesh: 2019 WC #26 (Trent Bridge)

Opener David Warner hit a record 166 as Australia are all but assured of a World Cup semi-final spot after a 48-run defeat of Bangladesh.

Warner's 166 took Australia to 5-381. Khawaja hit 89 and Finch made 53.

Bangladesh chased gamely but could not kick on in the closing stages. Bangladesh posted their highest ever one-day score of 8-333 but it was still well short.

Australia 381 for 5 (Warner 166, Khawaja 89, Finch 53, Soumya 3-58) beat Bangladesh 333 (Mushfiqur 102*, Mahmudullah 69, Tamim 62) by 48 runs.
