Woakes six wrecks Ireland for 38 in comeback win: Only Test (Lords)

Paceman Chris Woakes took 6 wickts as England bowled out Ireland out for 38 to win by 143 runs in a stunning comeback.

Chasing 182, Ireland were knocked over in just 94 balls by Woakes (6-17) and Stuart Broad (4-19) in damp and gloomy conditions.

Ireland's 38 all out was the seventh lowest total in Test history and the lowest at Lord's.

England 85 and 303 (Leach 92, Roy 72) beat Ireland 207 and 38 (Woakes 6-17, Broad 4-19) by 143 runs.
