Kevin Pietersen struck a fluent 115 his 12 test ton as England recovered to 2737 after day one of the final Test against New Zealand at Trent Bridge.Pietersen hit 14 fours and shared 161 in 50 overs with Tim Ambrose 67 to rescue England's innings after they stumbled to 865 due to some fine seam bowling from the Kiwis.
