Hazlewood rocks England with late strikes: 4th Test, Day 3 (Manchester)

Australia edged ahead late in the day after Josh Hazlewood removed Rory Burns, Joe Root and Jason Roy to leave the home side 200-5, still 297 behind Australia's 497-8 declared.

Earlier, Rory Burns (81) and Joe Root (71) put on 141 for the third wicket to provide solidity to England’s response after rain washed out the morning session.

But Hazlewood (4-48) backed up a superb spell from Pat Cummins dented England after tea.

England 200 for 5 (Burns 81, Root 71, Stokes 7*, Bairstow 2*, Hazlewood 4-48) trail Australia 497 for 8 (Smith 211, Labuschagne 67) by 297 runs.
