Partners in crime: Waqar and Wasim discuss their careers

Fearsome pace duo Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis were part of the present Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s squad that won the World Cup in Australia in 1992.

Wasim debuted in 1985 and ended up with 916 international wickets, while his partner-in-crime Waqar finished with a rich haul of 789 wickets in a career that lasted almost 15 years.

Both Waqar and Wasim were fined by Justice Qayyum in his judgement on Pakistani match fixing. They also have had a rocky relationship over the years.

The Fox Sports panel got the duo together for this interview at the end of the 1st Test in Brisbane in 2019.

Nov 2019.
