Warner, Zampa guide win over NZ without a crowd: 1st ODI (Sydney)

Dave Warner hit 67 as Australia recorded a 71-run victory over New Zealand, devoid of fans due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Marnus Labuschagne's remarkably consistent home summer has continued in an unusual setting, with another half-century (56) guiding Australia to 7-258.

Pat Cummins, Mitch Marsh and Adam Zampa bowled out New Zealand for 187 to claim the win.

Australia 7 for 258 (Warner 67, Finch 60, Labuschagne 56, Sodhi 3-51) beat New Zealand 187 (Guptill 40, Latham 38, Cummins 3-25, Marsh 3-29) by 71 runs.
