Stokes, Broad secure late win over Windies: 2nd Test, Day 5 (Manchester)

Allrounder Ben Stokes delivered crucial contributions with bat and ball to lead England to a 113-run win late on the final day of the second Test, tying the three-match series at 1-1.

Paceman Stuart Broad took 3-1 on the fourth evening and tore through the top order again with three more wickets on Day 5 to leave West Indies 37-4 before lunch. The visitors were bowled out for 198 after resistance from Blackwood (55) and Brooks (62) took them deep into the last session.

England 469 for 9 declared (Stokes 176, Sibley 120, Chase 5-172) and 129 for 3 declared (Stokes 78*) beat West Indies 287 (Brathwaite 75*, Brooks 68, Chase 51, Broad 3-66) and 198 (Brooks 62, Blackwood 55, Broad 3-42) by 113 runs.
