Ireland stun England after Stirling, Balbirnie tons: 3rd ODI (Southampton()

Ireland stunned England in a thrilling finish, completing a chase of 329 with one ball to spare after Paul Stirling and Andrew Balbirnie struck hundreds.

Opener Stirling smashed 142 off 128 balls and skipper Balbirnie 113 off 112, sharing a superb stand of 214 for the second wicket.

Earlier, Eoin Morgan's 84-ball 106 looked to have put them on course for victory when they posted a huge 328.

England won the series 2-1.

Ireland 329 for 3 (Stirling 142, Balbirnie 113) beat England 328 (Morgan 106, Banton 58, Willey 51, Young 3-53) by seven wickets.
