Nicholls century steadies Kiwis: 2nd Test, Day 1 (Wellington)

Henry Nicholls defied the West Indian bowlers and rode a hefty dose of luck to post his sixth test century.

Nicholls punished the West Indies’ generosity to end 117 not out after being dropped twice.

The Black Caps scrambled to 294-6 after being sent in with Tom Latham standing in for skipper Kane Williamson who withdrew to attend the birth of his first child.

New Zealand 294 for 6 (Nicholls 117*, Young 43, Mitchell 42, Gabriel 3-57, Chemar Holder 2-65) vs West Indies.

Dec 2020.
