Seifert, Duffy power win over Pakistan: 1st T20 (Auckland)

Debutant Jacob Duffy took 4-33 and a blast from Tim Seifert (57) helped New Zealand take a 1-0 lead against Pakistan in the first match of the T20I series.

Shadab Khan, skippering Pakistan for the first time, struck 42 and Faheem hit 31 to enable Pakistan to post 153-9 after Duffy inflicted early damage with 4-33.


Tim Seifert smashed 57, and partnered with Mark Chapman (34) to get the Black Caps home.


New Zealand 156 for 5 (Seifert 57, Chapman 34, Rauf 3-29, Afridi 2-27) beat Pakistan 153 for 9 (Shadab 42, Faheem 31, Duffy 4-33, Kuggeleijn 3-27) by five wickets.
