Jamieson career best haul crushes Pakistan: 2nd Test, Day 4 (Christchurch)

Kyle Jamieson bowled with pace and bounce to complete an 11-wicket match haul as New Zealand thrashed Pakistan in the second Test to become the world's top-ranked team.

Pakistan resumed on the fourth morning at 8/1, but were up against it, with Jamieson continuing his meteoric rise in Test cricket, taking another five-wicket-haul to dismantle the visitors.

There was resistance from Azhar Ali (37), Abid Ali (26) and later Faheem Ashraf (28) and Zafar Gohar (37) but Pakistan were shot out for 186 to lose the series 2-0.

New Zealand 659 for 6 dec (Williamson 238, Nicholls 157, Mitchell 102*) beat Pakistan 297 (Azhar 93, Jamieson 5-69) and 186 (Gohar 37, Jamieson 6-48) by an innings and 176 runs.
