Australia dominates India after Pucovski debut: 3rd Test, Day 1 (SCG)

Australia edged ahead of India after debutant Will Pucovski and Marnus Labuschagne led the way on a rain-shortened first day.

After losing Warner early, the century partnership between Pucovski (62) and Labuschagne (67 not out) was Australia's first for the summer.

Pucovski survived a pair of dropped catches from wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant on 26 and 32 and a missed chance for a run out on 39.

Australia 166 for 2 (Labuschagne 67*, Pucovski 62, Smith 31*) vs India.
