Fans ejected: Kohli slams racial abuse of Siraj (SCG)

Rookie paceman Mohammed Siraj ran in from the fine leg boundary, alerting teammates before umpires passed on the message to security and police after he was taunted by unruly spectators for the second day running.

Play was interrupted during day four of the third Test between India and Australia with six people ejected and NSW police investigating an incident in the SCG crowd.

Skipper Tim Paine who was batting in the middle joined the Indian team huddle with a visibly upset Siraj while play was stopped.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli who has returned to India issued a strong-worded statement over the racial abuse faced by pacers Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammed Siraj calling the incident 'absolutely unacceptable'.
