NZ win in England after 22 years: 2nd Test, Day 4 (Edgbaston)

New Zealand beat England by 8 wicket to win the series 1-0. This has been New Zealand first series win in England since 1999.

England did not added any run in its overnight lead and set a 38-run target for New Zealand. The visitors chased down the target in 11th over as Tom Latham hit the 5th ball of Mark Wood's over for four towards third man.

New Zealand lost two wickets in its 38-run chase.

New Zealand 388 (Young 82, Conway 80, Taylor 80, Broad 4-48) and 41 for 2 (Latham 23*) beat England 303 (Lawrence 81*, Burns 81, Boult 4-85) and 122 (Wood 29, Wagner 3-18, Henry 3-36) by eight wickets.
