Livingstone powers series win over SL: 2nd T20 (Cardiff)

England claimed a second successive T20 victory over Sri Lanka, winning their rain-interrupted international by five wickets.

Liam Livingstone (29 not out) rescued England after they slumped to 36/4. Livingstone and Sam Billings (24) put on a fifth-wicket stand of 54 to secure the 2-0 series win.

Sri Lanka earlier limped to 111-7, with Kusal Mendis making 39 and Mark Wood taking 2-18 and Adil Rashid 2-24.

England 108 for 5 (Livingstone 29*) beat Sri Lanka 111 for 7 (Mendis 39, Wood 2-18) by five wickets (DLS method).
