Anderson fires as India stumbles: 2nd Test, Day 2 (Lords)

Veteran James Anderson (5-62) claimed his 31st Test five-for as India were bowled out for 364.

England clawed back into the contest as Anderson bowled with seam and bounce to knock over India for 364. The visitors collapsed having added only 88 to their overnight score, for the loss of seven wickets.

In reply, Joe Root posted 48 not out as England reached stumps on 119-3 after a shaky start.

England 118 for 3 (Burns 49, Root 48*, Siraj 2-34) trail India 364 (Rahul 129, Anderson 5-62) by 246 runs.
