Ruthless Bumrah triggers England collapse for win: 4th Test, Day 5 (Oval)

Jasprit Bumrah snapped up 2 quick wickets after lunch in the decisive spell of the match to pave the way for India's 157-run win and a 2-1 series lead with one match to play.

England, who were 141-2 in pursuit of a target of 368, lost four wickets for six runs in 36 balls after lunch as they slumped to 147-6 as Bumrah bowled with late reverse swing and exhilarating pace.

Hameed struck 63 in an opening stand of 100 with Burns but Bumrah (2-27) and Umesh Yadav (3-60) consigned England to a stunning defeat.

India 191 (Thakur 57, Kohli 50, Woakes 4-55) and 466 (Rohit 127, Pujara 61, Thakur 60, Pant 50, Woakes 3-83) beat England 290 (Pope 81, Woakes 50, Umesh 3-76) and 210 (Hameed 63, Burns 50, Umesh 3-60) by 157 runs.
