Imran was best: Hadlee on All-rounders era

The 1980s saw the emergence of 4 great allrounders in world cricket Kapil Dev Ian Botham Imran Khan and Richard Hadlee. All vying for the title of the best ever allrounder.

Now one of the quartet is picked as the best. Its none other than Imran picked by Richard Hadlee himself in this interview with Michael Atherton.

Beefy did concede that Hadlee was the best bowler of the 4. He was probably just peeved that Imran got picked ahead of him by Hadlee.

Botham did not look pleased that Hadlee picked Imran over him. Ha, Ha.

Yeah, this kinda makes sense. Imran and Botham were the best batsmen amongst this quartet, and Imran was a better bowler than Beefy in all conditions.
