Santner spins out India as NZ dominate: 2nd Test, Day 2 (Pune)

New Zealand dominated India after stretching their lead to 301 with spinner Mitchell Santner taking career best figures to bowl out the team cheaply on day two.

Santner took 7-53 as India slumped to 156 all out after starting brightly to get to 50-1.

New Zealand were 198-5 at stumps with skipper Tom Latham posting a solid 86 at the top of the order. Spinner Washington Sundar took 4-56 to have a 11 wicket match bag so far.

New Zealand 259 and 198 for 5 (Latham 86, Blundell 30*, Washington 4-56) lead India 156 (Jadeja 38, Santner 7-53, Phillips 2-26) by 301 runs.
