Bangladesh defeat Pakistan for historic 2-0 series win: 2nd Test, Day 5 (Rawalpindi)

Bangladesh created history in Rawalpindi as they beat Pakistan in the 2nd Test by six wickets to secure the two-match Test series 2-0.

Chasing 185, Bangladesh lost early wickets but a solid partnership between skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto (38) and Mominul Haque (34) kept them in the hunt. Opener Zakir Hasan top scored with 40 runs.

Veterans Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib Al Hasan were at the wicket as Bangladesh recorded their first ever series win in Pakistan.

Bangladesh 262 (Litton 138, Shahzad 6-90) and 185 for 4 (Zakir 40, Shanto 38) beat Pakistan 274 (Ayub 58, Mehidy 5-61) and 172 (Salman 57*, Mahmud 5-43) by six wickets.
