Bashir spins out Windies for innings win: 2nd Test, Day 4 (Nottingham)

Off spinner Shoaib Bashir took another five wicket haul as England surged to a series win by knocking over West Indies in a single session on the fourth day.

Bashir claimed figures of 5-41, his third five-wicket haul in as many Tests, to bowl out the Windies for just 125. They collapsed after being 66-1 at one stage.

Earlier, centuries for Joe Root and Harry Brooks gave England an early lead as they posted 425.

England lead the 3 match series 2-0.

England 416 (Pope 121, Duckett 71, Stokes 69) and 425 (Root 122, Brook 109, Duckett 76, Pope 51, Seales 4-97) beat West Indies 457 (Hodge 120, Da Silva 82*, Athanaze 82, Woakes 4-84) and 143 (Brathwaite 47, Bashir 5-41) by 241 runs.
