Ramnaresh Sarwan hit an unbeaten 184 as West Indies closed on 202 runs behind England at 398-5. The day was marred by a series of regrettable decisions from TV umpire Daryl Harper who somehow decided not to reprieve several batsmen when referred for rulings.
Chanderpaul 70 and Brendan Nash shared 53 with Sarwan but both were controversially given out after the referrals to Harper.
Day 3, 4th Test Mar 2009.

Surely the benefit of the doubt still must be given to the batsmen... how could Harper get this wrong 2+ times!!! This questionable experiment with the 'Referral' process must be fixed and soon...if we introduce technology, then lets use it to its full extent (ball path projection) and give the 3rd ump the same view the rest of the cricket world enjoys.
