Bus-conductor Merv Hughes asks Javed Miandad for ticket
Australian fast bowler Merv Hughes relates the humourous story of the day he sledged Javed Miandad by asking him for his bus ticket after he dismissed the Pakistani 2nd Test Adelaide Jan 1990.
Javed had previously been winding up Hughes by calling him a fat driver.
Hughes also comments on the use of sledging as a tectic and on the state of the current Australia team in New Zealand for the 1st Test that he is attending as an Australian selector.
