Defiant Windies make Aussies work hard: 3rd Test, D4 (Barbados)

Dropped catches from the Aussies and attacking batting from Xavier Marshall 85 enabled the Windies to reach 2353 at the end of day four in the third Test.

The Windies are chasing a record score of 475 the previous highest chase in a 4th innings was made by the Windies on the last Australian tour in 2003. Shivnarine Chanderpaul 27 and Dwayne Bravo 30 were at the crease sharing in a fifty run stand when stumps were drawn.

Australia had earlier declared at lunch on 4395 after opener Simon Katich finally fell to spinner Sulieman Benn for 157. Day 4 3rd Test Barbados June 2008.

Too much to do for the Windies. I suspect the Aussies will win by lunch on Day 5.

Its going to be tough to chase down 475 as the Windies have a long tail, and Chattergood injured. The pitch is still good though.
