England collapse after Anderson five: 2nd Test, Day 2 (Trent Bridge)

South Africa has firm control of the 2nd Test after their pacemen bowled out England to lead by 205 runs with 9 second innings wickets in hand.

Skipper Joe Root sparkled for 78 but the home side were bowled out for 205, losing their last seven wickets for 62 runs in a spectacular collapse. Chris Morris and Keshav Maharaj each took three wickets, while Vernon Philander started the rot with for 2-48.

Earlier, South Africa were dismissed for 335 within half an hour after they lost 4 wickets for 26 thanks to Anderson who took 5-72.

South Africa 335 (Amla 78, de Kock 68, Philander 54, Anderson 5-72) and 75 for 1 (Elgar 38*, Amla 23*) lead England 205 (Root 78) by 205 runs.
