Shane Watson and Brad Haddin shared a vital 65 run partnership late in the day that saw Australia's lead stretch to a healthy 263 as they reached stumps on 193-5.

Earlier in the day the Indian tail wagged strongly again as Zaheer Khan top scored with an unbeaten 57 to take his side to 360.

Why did Watson and Haddin slow down in the last 30 mts....were they playing for the team (a lead of 280-9 would have been preferable for the team) or for themselves.

Cant wait for the last days play...as it can go either way. I suspect that Aus will bat for 30 mts this morning to increase the score and get the heavy roller on.
