Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir negotiated the Aussie pacemen with confidence before rain ended the day with India at 68-0 with 4 overs left.

Earlier Michael Hussey slammed his ninth Test century making a chanceless 146 off 276 balls. Indian leftarm pacer Zaheer Khan claimed the last three Aussie wickets within eleven balls to have the visitors 430 all out.

The test is very evenly balanced...the fast scoring of Sehwag & Gambhir (68 runs in 18 overs, run rate almost 4)was in stark contrast to the Aussies (430 in 150 ovs, almost 2 days, at a run rate of 2.8)

No, i think that the honours are pretty even. It always takes two completed innings to decide which team is in front of the test match.
