Rohit Sharma's stunning 123 not out was the highlight of India's crushing 9-wicket victory over Bangladesh in the second semi-final of ICC Champions Trophy.
After being sent in, an entertaining 123 run third wicket partnership between Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim put Bangladesh in a strong position but their middle order failed as Bumrah and Jadhav slowed the scoring with key wickets. Bangladesh made 264 for seven with Tamim top scoring with 70 and Mushfaqir posting 61.
In reply, openers Rohit and Shikhar Dhawan (46) posted 87 runs inside 15 overs. After Dhawan's departure, skipper Kohli smashed 96 not out to see India through to the final against Pakistan.
India 265 for 1 (Rohit 123*, Kohli 96*) beat Bangladesh 264 for 7 (Tamim 70, Mushfiqur 61, Jadhav 2-22, Bumrah 2-40) by 9 wickets.
