India bowled out for record low 46 by NZ (Bangalore)

India recorded its lowest score at home and it third-lowest total ever, getting bowled out for just 46 in the first innings of the first Test against New Zealand in Bengaluru.

After opting to bat, India quickly collapsed, losing three wickets for just 10 runs and ending the first session at 34 for six. The were shot out in just 31.2 overs as Matt Henry (5-15) and William O’Rourke (4-22) destroyed the strong Indian lineup.

India’s previous low scores were 36 vs Australia, 2020 in Adelaide and 42 vs England, 1974 at Lord’s.
