India snatch last ball thriller: 2016 WT20 No 25 IND v BAN (Bangalore)

Dhoni ran out Mustifiqur as Bangladesh lost three wickets from the final three balls to hand India a dramatic one-run win on the last ball, keeping alive their semi finals hopes.

Earlier, Bangladesh restricted India to 146/7 as only Raina (30) got going amidst a clutter of wickets falling at regular intervals.

In reply, Bangladesh needed only 17 runs in the last 2 overs and 11 runs needed off the last over from Hardik Pandya. Mushfiqur Rahim cracked Pandya through the covers for a boundary and scooped the next ball for another boundary but fell to the fourth ball hitting to Shikhar Dhawan at deep mid-wicket.

Two runs needed off the last two balls, Mahmudullah lofted Pandya to Ravindra Jadeja, who pulled off a brilliant catch at deep mid-wicket for 18. Two runs needed off the last ball, Dhoni raced with the ball to run out Mustafizur Rahman to win the match. India 146 for 7 (Raina 30, Mustafizur 2-34) beat Bangladesh 145 for 9 (Tamim 35, Ashwin 2-20) by one run.
