Karthik, Chahal shine as India win tense final: 2018 Nidahas Trophy Final (RPS)

Wicket keeper Dinesh Karthik hit a last-ball six to help India defeat Bangladesh and clinch the Nidahas Trophy tri-series title.

Rohit Sharma smashed a 42-ball 56 and Manish Pandey (28) made crucial contributions leaving India requiring 34 in the last 12 balls. Needing 12 off the last over, Karthik (29 in 8-balls) held his nerve to hit a 4 and 6 to get India past their 167-run target.

Earlier, wrist spinner Chahal took 3-18 to apply the brakes on Bangladesh who posted 166 for eight.

India 168 for 6 (Rohit 56, Karthik 29*) beat Bangladesh 166 for 8 (Sabbir 77, Chahal 3-18) by four wickets.
