Katich & Jacques stand puts Aussies in control: 3rd Test, D3 (Barbados)

Simon Katich 148 not out batted throughout the third day to lead his team to 3303 at stumps in their second innings an overall lead of 365. Katich and fellow opener Phil Jacques 108 put on 223 for the first wicket before skipper Ricky Ponting and Michael Hussey both fell cheaply after tea. Day 3 3rd Test Barbados June 2008.

Katich and Jacques batted really well to put the Aussies on top. The Windies needed to be more intense, accurate and energetic to force the issue.
