Late Dasun Shanaka blitz downs Aussies: 3rd T20 (Pallekele)

Skipper Dasun Shanaka's magnificent knock of 54* off just 25 balls helped Sri Lanka to a four-wicket win in the final over.

Australia set a steep target of 177 after Finch and and Warner motored to 40 off the first five overs.

In reply, Sri Lanka looked out of it when they slumped to 108-6 which left them needing 59 in the last 3 overs. An unbroken 69-run stand for the seventh wicket between Shanaka and Chamika Karunaratne revived the innings and delivered a thrilling consolation win.

Australia won the series 2-1.

Sri Lanka 177 for 6 (Shanaka 54*, Stoinis 2-8, Hazlewood 2-25) beat Australia 176 for 5 (Warner 39, Stoinis 38, Theekshana 2-25) by four wickets.
