Buttler, Pope rescue England after slump: 3rd Test, Day 1 (Manchester)

Under pressure Jos Buttler and Ollie Pope combined to put England ahead after collapsing to 122-4 before tea.

Pope (91 not out) added an unbroken 136 with Jos Buttler, who is on 56 to push the hosts to 258/4 when bad light forced umpires to call off the day's play.

The series is level at 1-1.

England 258 for 4 (Pope 91*, Buttler 56*, Burns 57) v West Indies.
